ATI Solutions takes an active role to improve the quality of life in our community, helping local organizations whenever possible. This October, we are proud to partner with local companies and sponsors at the United Bank Charity Classic, an annual golf tournament benefiting Inova Kellar Center and United Bank Community Fund.
Helping Children and Families Across Virginia Get the Care They Need
The Charity Classic will take place on September 25 at the Country Club of Fairfax, with hundreds of players, volunteers, and patrons working together to raise funds for a number of public welfare causes. United Bank currently sponsors the all-day Charity Classic, created by Cardinal Bank in 2002, to engage members of the community and support invaluable local charities. Now in its 17th year, the event has raised over $7 million and attracts more than 500 business and community patrons annually.
The majority of funds raised by the Charity Classic are donated to Inova Kellar Center, a Fairfax institution providing vital services and treatment for patients, children, and families. Proceeds from the charity event will be used to fund critical staff positions, expand clinical services, and extend treatment options to children and families who lack the resources to obtain healthcare. Our support will also allow improvements to the Inova Kellar Center campus and allow research projects for evidence-based treatment for the best possible outcomes for local families.
A smaller portion of Charity Classic proceeds will be donated to the United Bank Community Fund, a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization which provides grants to local nonprofits focused on bettering the community. The United Bank Community Fund is an advised fund of the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia devoted to programs that directly benefit children, healthcare, affordable housing, education, economic improvement, and financial literacy in the D.C. metro area.
Kids Golf Classic Benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Parkersburg
In addition to the tournament on September 25, United Bank acts as sole sponsor of the Kids Golf Classic, allowing 100% of the funds generated by entry fees, sponsorships, and donations to directly benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Parkersburg. The most recent Kids Golf Classic inspired donations from over 146 local businesses and community members and brought 136 golfers into the tournament. Since its inception, the Kids Golf Classic has raised more than $3.1 million to improve both the quality and quantity of the programs provided by the nonprofit organization.
The Boys and Girls Club of Parkersburg provides services to over 900 young people per year in a safe, diverse facility. Its staff of dedicated professionals are committed to each child’s academic success, healthy life choices, and character development.
