Windows Server 2010 will be updated this August with 2012 R2, which includes new features, but also carries with it a heavy price; a version upgrade or migration. Microsoft promises to release annual version upgrades for SQL, System Center, and Visual Studio as well. For IT this mean new features are quicker to market than the usual 2-3 years and is free if covered under multi-year Software Assurance contracts. ATI launches new website. The goal is to not only make it a tool to find out about ATI, but also a source of information for our customers and others, regarding technology and how it impacts their business and their lives.
ATI’s Business Continuity site and Disaster Recovery services are activated and put in production for six business days. The impacted customer‘s HQ was put out of commission due to a power incident, causing the county to close the building. Key employees moved to ATI’s McLean facility to provide their customers with the same level of support as usual.
